Pollonia
You arrive on Milos at the bustling port of Adamas, the centre of transportation on the island.
About 12 km away, in the northeast of the island, there is the rather quieter fishing village of Pollonia with a variety of accommodation, tavernas and two "supermarkets". There is a tree-lined shallow sandy beach with a playground for children and a number of other beaches in the vicinity. It also has a diving school.
In the small port of Pollonia you find a ferry connection to the nearby island of Kimolos: a rewarding destination for day trips.
